Web Exclusive Content In Search of Syrian Cuisine
Published May 08, 2008

I love authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, and it’s harder to find that one might imagine.

I found a great place in Westminster. The Kabob Station (proof that a simple name can really deliver) is as authentic Syrian as it gets.

The owner’s daughter was working the night I visited and she told me that her father is a native of Syria and that the cooks were from Syria as well, which became obvious when I tasted the food. The falafel is excellent and the pita bread is baked in-house. The kibbeh is second only to what I’ve had at my grandmother’s dining room table.
